Relative to McCain and the Republicans, a vote for Obama actually IS a vote for smaller govt.

That's how sad this whole shit has become.

What do you mean "smaller"? It would be considered a DANGEROUS government. I will agree with most, McCain wasn't my first republican choice.....but I would have Bill Clinton getting laid in the oval office more than I would want Obama deciding what to do with my tax dollars..

McCain is going? Wow, I guess the "Maverick" will show up with his revolver to find that the "Outlaw" will be waiting with a sniper rifle and infrared scope. I.E., McCain is going to lose. very. badly. Can't wait.

Once you get to see obama unscripted you'll see what his real views are. Obama is going to get splattered and look like a fool. What's truly scary is he actually believes the crap coming out of his mouth.

Sincerity is a character flaw in your book? I guess that means you think lying and winning at any cost are admirable traits for the president. It would explain your positions I suppose.

Are the right leaning folk here happy when people like this show up? It's like Hannity and Limbaugh had a down syndrome baby.

No bailout agreement has been reached.

What made McPussywillow flip-flop on attending the debate?

Because JPussywillows like yourself think he is pulling a "political stunt" when he was ACTUALLY trying to work. A debate is a joke....this country needs shit fixed more than it needs two politicians bawking at each other over who will get free healthcare.

If John McCain had never called for a delay of the debates, would you still be saying that?

I would have been extremely dissapointed if not one of the two candidates focused on the problem at all. McCain, to me, showed his continued commitment to this country....Obama hasn't done shit...and will continue to do the same.

You mean like not voting on a fucking thing since April?

Right.

We got it, you're a hack.

Got any more cool newsmax links for us?

Yes chief...http://marklevinshow.com/wp-co...lastsoreilly092508.mp3
LOL, he called Rush a good radio host? This guy must take 1/4 of the drugs Rush does to be that delusional. I'd say 1/2 but that would kill anyone under 300lbs

I do agree Bill O is a fool though

one thing is for certain. A lot of you are making bold predictions as to how this thing will turn out 🙂 Honestly this election is so crazy ANYTHING could happen. Its like the world wrestling federation or some shit and thats fitting considering the general public.

I guess I would be more onboard with the idea that McCain is really trying to save the day, except for the fact that his handlers keep repeating that he hasn't even read the proposed plan(s).

"Earlier, McCain had emerged from his office in the Russell Senate Office Building to a crush of reporters, saying nothing as he made his way to Boehner's office. In tow were a trio of his closest allies, Sens. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.), Joseph I. Lieberman (I-Conn.) and Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.), as well as top campaign aides Rick Davis and Mark Salter.

Boehner and McCain discussed the bailout plan, but Republican leadership aides described the conversation as somewhat surreal. Neither man was familiar with the details of the proposal being pressed by House conservatives, and up to the moment they departed for the White House yesterday afternoon, neither had seen any description beyond news reports.

At 1:25 p.m., McCain left Boehner's office through a back door, walking across the Capitol's rotunda to the applause of tourists. Graham conceded the group knew little about the plan the nominee had come to Washington to try to shape. "

I don't see how he could be putting Country First or providing any kind of leadership when he doesn't have half a clue about what is really being proposed.

But he didn't step off the campaign trail, he hasn't stopped campaigning even for 30 seconds.

Also the proposals are only about 3 pages long. So before he gets on his horse and starts lecturing people he should know what the fuck he's talking about.

Anyways, the end result is he looks like a total jackass, and that's all that really matters.

McCAIN WINS!

somebody took a snapshot of a McCain ad that says so.

McCain wins debate!

See? It's already there. So now even if McCain gets his ass handed to him tonight, the appropriate talking point for the party faithful will be how McCain won a glorious victory!
To dare say anything else would be unpatriotic, and you wouldn't want anyone to think you're one of those America-hating liburals, would ya?

How unfortunate. That ad makes me want to stab McCain with a flag.

But if you want to continue to claim you are a libertarian and have no side- fine, just realize that most of us see it for the lie it is. No self respecting libertarian would vote for or support BHO...unless ofcourse they weren't really libertarian in the first place.
So again I ask you - you're sitting out this election? Or are you itching to vote Nader in protest?

Does the debate really matter tonight? We already know what the media and liberals here will say no matter what happens. Obama won the debate.

I've stated here many times that I'll do the RP2 or barr thing so my vote registers as a protest vote instead of getting lost in the BHO herd of sheep. 🙂

I'm sure that Jim Lehrer of PBS, who is the moderator, will open things up by mentioning that the events pertaining to the economy are of greater concern right now than foreign relations. He will allow the candidates to make statements addressing that issue. Then Lehrer will try to steer things back to the dedicated topic, but both candidates will continue to get sidetracked. I expect McCain at some point to get flustered and whine that they're not sticking to the agreed upon agenda.

Yes, Obama's in dire straits. Is the health of the candidates really the topic you want to debate on? I think you should pretend you never wrote that and I'll not bring up cancerman again.

Actually, its what YOU chose to debate on. And like I've said before, mcCain is like a freaking cat. The dude has been through hell and back and has every chance x10 to die and hasn't.
