Heyyyy... i beat NFS4 to a newsie topic. Well bush has once again put the preverbial heterosexist foot down, and canceled gay pride month. He says it's not proper to recognize peoples orientation in a "month" Thoughts? 🙂
 
I didn't even know there was such a thing as gay pride month. Guess it must not have changed the world, eh?
 
Frankly, I could care less. Why should they get their own month?

But he is pretty stupid for outright saying it.
 
So we have Gay Pride Month, Black History Month, Women's History Month, and others I'm sure. When will there be an Ordinary White Dude Pride month?

There are so many &quot;pride months&quot; or &quot;awareness months&quot; that it's getting wayyy ridiculous... maybe they should extend the calendar year to like 20 months per year or something...

I completely agree as well. Its annoying having all these gratuitous &quot;celebration&quot; days/months, especially when the federal government gets involved. But didn't Bush create a National Prayer Day or something like that?
