Haven't seen a DC deal in a while. EBgames has preplayed dreamcasts for $14.99. EB saver shipping is only $1.99. This might be one of your final chances to get this great system. They seem to go for at least $20 plus shipping on Ebay.

Yup they have them on that dcemulation site I put in the original post so I don't *think* theyre illegal, but I could be wrong.

Ya know what's funny, a friend of mine just asked me yesterday if I had a Dreamcast, and wanted to know if she could have my controller. I told her I'd get one for her for Christmas, but damn, I'll just buy her a whole new (preowned) system for the same price!

Such a great system... Nice if you want to hook it up to a spare TV or leave it in your rack to play some old skool gaming every once in a while. Seems like not too long ago I was waiting for best buy to open so I could buy one on the first day for $199 🙁

If you can't find one at EB, I think some of the Blockbuster game rush stores are selling them for $19.99, so that may be another alternative.
 
Nice find. My old DC died a while back and I have been thinking of replacing it. It was a great system with some awesome games.
 
I picked up an extra for the kids room. It may be "old school" but the graphics on some of the DC games are as good as or better than some of the new XBox/PS2/GC games and the games can be had for CHEAP.
 
Just picked one up, but forgot to order an extra controller. They have used controllers for $2.99, but I don't want to place a new order and have to pay shipping again. 🙁 Does anyone know if prices are the same at the EB B&M stores?
 
Are there any trade-in deals going on in-store? I don't see any specials on their site right now. $15 is good, but cheaper is better. 😀
 
No trade in deals going on instore right now, and like TwoMix said... even I haven't seen DC systems in any of the EB Stores near me.

Heck, I'm pretty sure not even the GameStops carry it anymore at least not the B&Ms
 
Is a VMU needed to play games/saving games?

Also, there is a 15% code on the EB Games website that will take 15% off controllers and accessories, does not work on the console. The code is in their hot deals and specials for the 15% off on preplayed games and DVDs code.
