Can you add it to your cart? The page seems to show it as in stock, but I get an error when trying to add it in now.

Check out Powerstone 2 for multiplayer action. I heard that game was a blast with 4 people. Heck, the original Powerstone was a blast with just two people!

Thanks for the deal, I got mine in couple of days ago. Works great, needs a little TLC cleaning to look new, though I ended up with a Black Sports edition one, and a white controller, ah well!

LINKY for bunches of emulators that run on the DC -- including NES, SNES, neo geo, mame, atari, and others.

Beware: pop-ups galore

Disclaimer: I've never downloaded anything from this site, so check for virii

Just got mine in the mail hooked it all up and it freezes at the set time and date screen. Changed controllers, reseated them. Got my old DC out of the closet that worked when I put it in. Does the same thing. Is there a problem with the clock battery or something that will not allow it to set the time. I know the controllers work on neighbors system. Anyone have any suggestions on why this happens and how to get around it. Called ebgames and they will exchange it without problems but this has got to be a simple fix. Any help is appreciated.

I got my DC yesterday, hooked it up and it works great. Better than my last 2 DCs that I bought used (this one was made in Japan), and it runs NesterDC with no problems. Still waiting on the VGA box I got off eBay.

I also stopped by TRU on the way home today and they still had some DC games for sale in their clearance rack. Got Virtua Tennis and Sega Bass Fishing for $2.50 each

Hmmmm.... not sure what to tell ya. I know I've left a DC sitting for long long time and it forgot the date, but it didn't freeze on me. It just prompted me for the date when I turned it on.
You might take the cover off the dc and see if there's a replaceable battery -- just like on a motherboard. (heck, it IS on the motherboard). Not sure but I suspect its a cr2032 lithium, or something like that.
I know the vmu's use 2 of them.
Maybe swap vmu's if you can? Or maybe try starting it up without a vmu? I dunno... just guessing.

Sega controllers were back in stock this morning. Sold out when I ordered the console so I just picked up a couple of extras for $2.99 each. Used coupons for 15% off preplayed and also a code is out there for SAVER shipping.

Does the DC have regular Audio/Video outputs ?

I thought about picking one up to put in the Pathfinder..

Also, anything else required ??? mem cards... etc... ??

Thanks

This comes with the cable containing regular composite video output (yellow/red/white RCA plugs) and S-video as well. It comes with two controllers, but no memory cards. They are required for some games, but not all; logically a fighter game wouldn't need one but a complex adventure game like Shenmue would.

Mine came with one controller and a funky looking coax cable RF hookup box that does not work. Luckily I had bought a Dreamcast S-Video + composite audio connector when I bought my first DC a few years ago so I had a spare. And again luckily the video game switch I am using in my kids room has an S-Video connector (the TV does not).

To the best of my knowledge, an n64 emulator doesn't exist. I'd LOVE to know otherwise.
I tried a Comodor 64 emulator... but didn't have any c-64 stuff to try on it. It looked like my brothers c-64 of 20+ years ago....
The gameboy emu works pretty good, if I remember right.
One not on your list that I know does work well is the NeoGeo emu -- I was pretty supprised about it.
The NES is probably the one you'll find everywhere -- it works fine... too bad the games look WWWAAAYYY dated. It's good for when you want to show your kids what kind of cr@p video games used to be.
SNES works.

I haven't tried the others.

Though slightly off topic, go to http://www.ngemu.com/n64/
There is a list of n64 emulators on the left hand column. As I recall 1964 worked pretty well.

I just snagged a DC, 2 controllers, 2 vmus, and a game for about $45 with 2 day shipping. :)

Edit: No n64 emulator for the DC afaik but the link above is a list of n64 emulators for PC, mac, linux

Got my 1st one.... played for 5 mins and the display started getting static... I played with the RF adapter and it just got worse. No it just shows static... will have to return it as I dont have an extra RFU to test it with to see if its just that.

I just bought one DC from my local EB for $14.99 plus tax. It has the manufacturing date of 1/2000. I just play it and it is running fine. Good deal. I think there are still a few DC left in that store.
