I specifically told the CSR I was going to buy the preorder to take advantage of the $15 GC, free headset, and tshirt. I just wanted to make sure I could still send in my information. The fact of the matter is that if you preorder this thing, it will be rung up and shipped with the receipt in the box in the timeframe of the rebate. Therefore, as long as you fill out the form, include the UPC, and receipt in the box, you are set to go.

Yes, this is also available if you buy in store as well.
 
Anyone pre-order this today and still get the same deal? I need to get another copy for my other PC.
 
if you preorder it today at the store, June 21, can you get the $15 GC, T-shirt and headset, when it becomes available tomorrow? nightfall i noticed you said it was also available in the store as well, but was not sure if you were referring to just the $15 GC, because the circular only states the $15 GC and no headset or T-Shirt, so i was wondering if the headset and T-Shirt is only offered for online orders along with the $15 GC.
 
Sorry for my ignorance, but I am a little confused.

Can I go got Comp right now, pre-order, get the $15 gift card, and then use it when I pay the balance of the game when it comes out?
 
Awesome Deal! But do you really need to buy the game after 6/22 to qualify for the $15 GC? I want to get it today!!!
 
No. I called them to ask what was up. They said that they have not received the shipment at the warehouse and that's why no orders have gone out and none of their stores have them in stock. So basically since we wanted the tshirt and gc we have to wait 1-2 more days.
 
i just picked one up from the goleta, ca compusa. they had pc dvd and pc cd versions. when items rang up, it printed the rebate on the reciept.
 
mine arrived, no headset, called CSR, they said the free headset was only for the first 100 orders, anybody who ordered after that doesn't get the headset !!

so i've asked for a refund, and i'll order the game somewhere else

anybody know if anybody is still selling it for $50 with the free headset ?
 
Yep. I didn't get my headset either. I'm pissed. That was the only reason I ordered from CompUSA, they were the only place that still said anything about a headset. At the very least, I'm getting that $37.99 from Fry's pricematched. That way, I can fscking BUY one...but you can bet your ass it won't be from CompUSA.

btw, here's a search for the headset at bizrate.

I almost placed an order with CompUSA myself. No headset!? No DVD!? Screw them! Did you guys even get the t-shirt? Nice to have a Fry's nearby, got it for only $37.99+tax.
