Just got an email from compusa, best pre-order deal ive seen for this game.

Very nice deal.

Best deal so far was ebgames and the free 3 day shipping and free headset. Total came to $52 though.

This one you get a $15 GC, a tshirt, AND the headset. However, you pay for shipping. Total came to about $57 including tax. So, is it worth spending an extra $5 for the tshirt and the $15 GC? I think so.

it appears the $15 GC rebate is valid between 6/22 and 6/25, so if you don't want the shirt or the headset and want to save on shipping, you could pick it up in store when it comes out.

Thats true. You will get the headset no matter what. As for the tshirt, it looks like that is only open to preorder customers. So you have to consider if paying $5 for shipping is worth it to get the tshirt and not having to worry about driving to the store? Your call.

I like the way BF2 plays, but they seriously need to work on the server selection screen.

I have seen these "preorders" at Best Buy. You are paying $10 or so for a right to the game when it comes out. Then, you pay the balance when the game comes out. You aren't paying $10 for the full game.

You have been living under a rock if you believe that the empty box that says 9.99$ is the real price Its the preorder price, just to save the game for you, you will have to fork over another 40$-45$ to buy it. Oh, and that 10$ you gave them... its theirs if you dont go and pay for the whole game.

Thats a quote from the CompUSA website, so it looks like the gift card is not redeemable online. But someone please correct me if I'm mistaken.
