Yeah I recall when shopping around originally some people were cautioning against the single fan design, but it was cheap and I'm not really a power user (no OC, game just a couple times a week), but it looks like they were right. It looks like they are going to buy from Newegg and ship to me. Since Newegg is still selling my exact card, they must know it has some issues if they are willing to change the model.
If they just buy another retail box I don't see why I wouldn't get the free games again. Another score. Though, I have been without a card for more than a month now (though a lot of that was me dragging my feet on the RMA).
