Is there a guide or chart somewhere which gives recommendations for the amperage that a PSU should provide for the various processors and system specs?
I understand every system is different, but something like this:
Athlon XP 1800
Budget to Mid-level system should have at least 15A on the 12V line
High end systems should have at least 25A on the 12V line.
....just basic recommendations.
Right now, I'm looking at snagging a closeout case, an Ahanix Integra with a 350W PSU. It'll be running an XP 2000 (no overclocking) with minimal components. Basically just a web surfing PC. I imagine it'll do fine for that job, but I'd still like to see a guide for future reference.
Also, has anyone heard anything about Ahanix cases/PSU's? TIA
