ok, i have the XP 1800+ still

i have a fw questions tho, do i just comp my current userinfo.sah file into a seperate folder and replace it with the new one and then when the 7 days is over put my other one back? (i use seti driver if it matters.)

and when i put a password lock on my screensaver does SETI still run? i have the screen saver locked on the celeron.

Edit i cant get the celeron, he wont let me.

I will be running SETI for the Cavalry, unless someone wants me to run another DC project for someone else.
 
I tried to reply yesterday, but the damn thing wouldn't let me post!!

I am running Seti on my computers, i will convert them to ta_seti@hotmail.com tonight, and leave them til next Sunday, or whenever after that i remember to change them back!

Computers are:

Athlon 1000 @ 1430 (110*13), about 5hr 15mins per WU (average)
AMD K6 233 MHz (original K6, not K6-2), about 2.5days per WU

Many thanks to the people who were able to bid for this for David, i have no money, so i will donate my CPU time for you. 🙂

You will need to copy the user_info.sah to each subfolder (1,2,3,4,5,....) if using SETIDRIVER. See the PowerPot thread at the top of the DC forum for detailed info. 🙂

And if you are using the cli version of SETI, it should still process when the screensaver kicks in. One suggestion though, just use a blank or simple screen saver. 3D, heavy graphics screensavers chew up CPU cycles and the SETI WUs take a lot longer to complete. 🙂

Seti:
1 x 1400 T-Bird
1 x 950 T-Bird @ 1048
1 x 850 Duron
1 x 650 Pentium III Dual

RC5
1 x 800 Duron <-- Typo, sorry.
 
I switched my pledged machine over to SetiCavalry for ECCP today and sent in 3 units only to find I had made a spelling error and started SetiCalvary instead. 😱

I wasn't the only one with spelling problems though. Ray changed the spelling from one line to another in the first message in this thread. 😕

Except for the dual PIII 700, all of the donated computer processing are doing SETI for the Calvary via TACUBE.COM.

The dual 700 PIII is currently off. (Windows 2000), If I turn it on, it will do a scandisk and at about 35% will reboot again.😱
 
My systems are correct (1x Athlon 1333 & 1x Athlon 1000).

I am currently running SETI on both under TA.

Do I just download the user_info.sah file and replace my current one with it? Will that get me switched over or do I have to do something additional to that?

They were doing SETI for me.
They are now working for TNOguy.
They will soon be working for SETI Cavalry for at least two weeks.
They then may do work for the freedom fighters.
Then I get them back. 🙂

Just for jeewiz, I'm even throwing in a 1ghz PC running SETI all 24/7

Don't want the buyers feeling cheated, so I will ensure they get what they pay for. 🙂
