Im running eccp on my machines right now, but I will look into switching over to seti by tomorrow for you guys. That was a heck of a lot of money! So, unless there is a stability problem (never has been one before), seti will be running on both the dual p3 linux machine and the athlon 900tb OpenBSD machine. PM me if you would rather have something else 🙂
 
When is the 7 days supposed to start? - sorry to be critical but with so many threads there isnt a definitive 'guide' or FAQ... 🙁

The title will be changed to reflect when it is time to start your conversion. We'd just like to get our ducks in a row before we lower the green flag. There will be no official "ending date". Once the Go is given, you will be on your honor to configure your clients and start processing for the Cavalry for no less than seven days.

And I know I haven't said it enough. Thank you all for your support of David and Donna. I'm overwhelmed with everyone's generosity.

The Tbird and G4 systems are correct. Currently, both run RC5; but I'm going to move the Tbird to SETI for the power pot, and unless anyone wants to see the G4 system do RC5(G4 systems kill at RC5 compared to SETI, 3K RC5 blocks/day just from that 1 machine), it'll also move to the much slower SETI.😱
 
I am currently running no DC projects. I can run any DC project that will run on my computer. My computer specs are correct.
 
My listing is correct and they all currently run seti, which makes it easy to change. If the Cav wants me to run something else, just tell me where to get it and I will load it. Except for those pictures of Ray.

My computer is a 1333Mhz. Not that 33MHz mahes much of a difference 😉


and I am running SETI now, and with the word GO i can swap the user.sah files

Then we would ask that you run SETI using the SETI Calvary email addy noted at the top of this thread. The CLI version of SETI is fastest, let us know if you need help setting it up! 😀

 
Just confirming that I, Sammyboy am still in.

If you wanna make it more accurate, i dont have a duron 800, i have a duron 650. and its running at 975mhz now, not 933, (could put it to 1ghz for the power pot if it brings us up another .1 ghz.

lets get this party started!

To help the cause, I'm using a Win2k box to run seti on a dual 850 instead of cracking RC5 on a couple of Klinux boxes... this is a bit less than I offered up, but I also stipulated that the 2x633@1g could only run RC5 as they are Klinux boxes... if this is not okay, LMK... the two CPUs are currently pegged at 100% running seti for the Cavalry 🙂
