Pot roast coming out too dry with crock pot - why?

A consumer show on a local tv channel tested 5 different slow cookers a while back. They found that the temperatures on the "low" setting varied considerably from one cooker to the next. Because of the inconsistencies in the low temperatures of each crock pot, the food came out cooked differently, given the same amount of time. Sounds like you have a slow cooker that is probably a bit hotter than it should be.
