er, yeah, the boot.ini is both hidden AND a system file, so just doing the "Show hidden files" won't make boot.ini appear. You also have to uncheck that "Hide system files (Recommended)" thingie in order for you to see boot.ini in C:\

Oh yeah, and once you open up boot.ini, your 2 copies of Win2K should look something like:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINNT
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(3)\WINNT

Make sure you don't delete the wrong line.
