Yeah I could have done that. However the PC didn't come with an install CD. The only real way for me to do it would be to install a pirated copy of Windows, which I have plenty of lying around actually, but I'm trying to use mostly legit software.

I dont get it, dont they give you a CD key? if so how would you be installing a pirated version?

Post on here from a Nintendo Dsi and I will be impressed.

You might as well just post on here from a Apple ][, just to prove that MS sucks since it requires a 2,000,000 times faster CPU and 1,000,000 times more DRAM just to boot up and run a single application. THEN I will be impressed.

Netbooks are nice machines and so inexpensive for what they can do. By brother in law has an HP running W7 basic. Fast enough for web browsing, Youtube, MS Word, etc. Would love to have one but not exactly a necessity.

Yeah, bought both my kids one for Christmas (got a $189 special from Dell on Black Friday with some coupons). I installed Windows 7 Business on each of them and they're great for everything. They carry them around like cell phones now. Always Skyping with friends, browsing, etc.
