I'm glad I don't have a cap.

nice firewall lol. Although a bandwith cap wouldnt affect you anyhow. you're less than 10 over per month on comcast's scale. Seems like that firewall is underutilized

did you use a program for that screen cap?

81gb/41gb right now.

I do not use my DSL connection through my company though, I am using a fixed wireless link using a spare set of backhaul radios (Motorola/Cambium PTP600) to one of our towers running at about 80mbit down by 60mbit up where my house is. Sure are nice radios to "test" out, but I dont typically download/upload much more than that.

103 GB November, 177 GB December, 117 GB January.

At 50 GB so far this month. Using Comcast, we have a 250 GB cap.

Over 200GBs, I can guarantee you that.

I never thought I could buy this many games and download them within a matter of seconds, my university T3 line must hate me.

My 1TB RAID0 went from having under 50GBs to right about 700 right now.

Steam must love you

I just put the screencaps together in photoshop, but I probably should find an app like that since I find myself doing it manually all the time. And yeah the firewall is usually at like 1-5% CPU so very under utilized. It's a Dell PowerEdge 1650 with a Pentium 3 processor.

My ISP is advertising a cap of 35GB per month, but they're not enforcing it and hopefully never will. Otherwise I'd be WAY over. It's not too bad if they just throttled, but I think a lot of them actually just overcharge now.

This past month I've used about 120gb. I use verizon 4G for my home internet

? How do you use that much data? Doesn't it cost you a fortune? I have verizon 4G LTE as my home plan and the best plan you can get is 10GB for $80/month. After that you pay $10/GB. They don't offer any higher data usage plans.

That means you would have paid $1180 for your usage.

SnagIt can automatically scroll and screenshot a webpage. Not sure if there's something else that's free that does it.

No idea to be honest. I never check because there's no cap. Don't think there's a way to check.

Unlimited hotspot tethering. You can still get it if you call in and talk to them. Took me 3 calls but it worked.

How much do they charge for that?

edit: Wait.. when you say hotspot, are you saying you are connected to one of their wifi hotspots, not using the actual 4G network for that usage?

We have Netflix and Hulu Plus on all the TVs in the house. Factor in YouTube, Steam, Dropbox, etc, etc. and it doesn't seem unreasonable to me. I don't do P2P either, except for Top Gear.

Same situation here, but we only average around 30GB. Do you leave the house?

Highest usage so far. My prior months have always been around 125GB. Not sure what my lowest usage is though, had to completely reset my router to defaults on the last DD-WRT update and didn't bother to dump the NVRAM info with my data usage.
