Oh, interesting, this hasn't died yet 😱. I'm at 5.9, dropped in a Q9550 a while back, my CPU/MEM score are 7.4 now. GTX 260 is 7.3, Hard Drive is 5.9 🙁. 400x8.5 🙂 3.4ghz.

Let's see a 7.9!!! My next upgrade will be a video card, or SSD. I don't have a use for a new processor yet, or video card for that matter, maybe I just am not into games that much anymore 🙁.

Plus something that smokes my GTX 260 should be out eventually for like $100 or something.

i guess thats okay considering it's a mac and stuff, plays all the games i've thrown at it, and thats good enough for me.
 
i know this is a somewhat old thread, but i had to chime in here:

AERO: 7.9 - 2 x GTX285 SLI
GAMING: 7.9 2 x GTX285 SLI
HDD: 7.4 3 x Vertex 30GB in RAID0 on ICH10R (ASUS P6T Deluxe)

Base: 7.4

I have a 4th Vertex lying around. I might slap it in there and see whether that helps raise the 7.4.

I've never increased voltage on the i7, so I might start playing with that and try to push to 7.9

Also, I have 3 sticks of 1GB each Corsair XMS3 DDR3-1333, which I could probably swap out for the existing 6 sticks of G.Skill above, and I should be able to push RAM to 7.9 if i get serious about timings.

BTW, the system as shown above is my "daily driver" on those settings. If you haven't yet moved to i7 + SSD + Win7 + SLI (or CrossFire if you prefer), then you truly have no idea what you're missing.
 
I'm late in the game as I waited for retail release. I skimmed thread, 7.7 is the highest on processor? I'm surprised my Vertex raid didn't score higher. Guy above claims a 7.8 on a single X-25M!? I'm running off mobo though.
