I'm with you on the drug abuse thing - I'd rather see the money spent on the war on drugs go to rehab clinics, and other related services. I just don't believe in jailing people over what they choose to put in their body. Now, you go on a meth binge and kill a group of kids or something, then you're fair game for killing them, but if you want to cook some cells on your own time, I don't have a problem.

Pedos - I think severe isolation from society should suffice, same for murderers, etc. No death penalty - I'm against it for other reasons, but you can be sure I'd deal out the most severe life sentence possible.

Murderers: Break both arms, life of hard labor.

Corporeal punishment seems to be a good deterrent in Singapore. Rather than put people in cages lets just cane them according to the offense.

Extreme cases, rape, murder, pedo.......after conviction they have 3 months to appeal. If it is not over turned then bring back the firing squad. Allow those who were hurt to be included if they request.

Drugs - Decriminalize. Create safe low cost distribution centers and Increase Rehab centers.
