The Sisoft Sandra memory bandwidth benchmark is not CPU dependent,
but is dependent on the quality of your RAM.

How did you determine that? I ran two CPUs (Celeron 550 and Celeron 800A) on the same MB (Asus P3V4X) using same FSB (100MHz) and SDRAM (Kingmax PC133), but did not get similar memory benchmark from Sandra.

Celeron 550: 283/323
Celeron 800: 318/410

And of course, the benchmark goes up when I increase the FSB to 103, 105 etc.
