Post your Sandra memory benchmarks here!

Lets see who has the best benches!
Post your results like this

1. Cpu type , speed and bus speed
2. Motherboard and chipset type
3. Operating system(This can affect results greatly)
4. Ram brand and model

I'll post my results tommorow since its late and I need sleep🙂

Very funny.
Yeap I need to go to sleep too.
Hehe so no time to post mine well that is until tomorrow after you post your.

my memory is poor, since I got integrated video card on my mobo, whenever I run sandra, my screen flickers probably because I have agp which uses up memory bandwith, therefore while benchmarking, it starts to flash black waves going up and down.

cpu/bandwith: 88mb
fpu/bandwith: 113

k6-2 450
124 sdram

how could I improve my ram? Is it defective? Maybe that's why it makes flickering, then again, it could be the crappy SiS 530 chipset.

Memory benchmark: 344/440
CPU benchmark: 2259/1126

Windows 2000 Professional
Celeron 533A @ 840, 1.8V, Golden Orb
P3V4X (BIOS 1005), 105 FSB @ 3/4 CPU/memory bus
256MB KingMax, PC133, SPD 333, 7.5 ns
Adaptec 26160 SCSI adapter, WD Enterprice 10K 9.1MB LVD
Matrox G200SG 8MB
Eqsonics AudioPCI
Plextor 412 CDR
Plextor 32x caddy CD drive
Aiwa DDS2 4mm tape
Iomega Insider SCSI zip drive.

The KingMax memory allows me to run at 2-2-2-5 only when I set both the FSB and memory bus at 105 MHz. It results in worse Sandra than the current SPD-3-3-3-6.

Here's my results 457 MB/s CPU 536 MB/s FPU

1. Coppermine 750 Mhz 150 FSB
2. Asus P3B-F BX
3. W2K Pro
4. Micron 7E running 150 Mhz CAS2

Asus K7V kx133 chipset
Athlon 500@700
256 generic p133 cas3
Win98se

Memory benchmark 439/531

Scope!

Man my 133mhz cas3 in a kx133 almost scored as high as the bx at 150mhx in paldo's system. Memory tweaks do wonders.
Scope!

Where can I read up on memory tweaks and/or get an app to tweak? I can't understand how to use H. Oda's WPCREDIT or WPCRSET or even whether they are meant for the BX chipset. I have a Soyo 6BA+IV so I am limited to the system bios unless I can find another utility.

Thanks

I just change one setting in BIOS and here's my new bench. Looking alot better now.

Memory 480/549

heh My memory benchmarks are bad.. compared to all yours!

AMD K6-2 400@420 96 megs of RAM (generic PC66 and PC125 @ 105) ASUS P5A. latency at 2-2-2 I get 155/158 CPU/FPU.

Now, I'd like to ask you people with Athlons etc to try yours at 100 mhz all around, see how bad my chipset really is! hehe.. I could overclock, but I'd have to find a few new devices that would sustain the overclock (one obvious part, my 32 megs of PC66 RAM, which is really 10 nanosecond).

I'd like to see how high the fsb could go, I already know my CPU sucks alot cause it can't hit 450 even with a .2 voltage increase.

ASUS K7V
bios version 1007.01A beta
256 MB Virtual Channel 133 SDRAM from www.memosun.com
$302 plus shipping for 256 MB

100 (DDR) FSB/133 CAS 2
469 CPU/589 FPU

110 (DDR) FSB/146 CAS 2
516 CPU/649 FPU

My benchmark.

Memory benchmark: 443/527

Asus K7V.
Athlon 700.
128MB CAS3 Hyundai chip.
128MB CAS3 Micron chip.
Windows2000 professional.

  • P3-650E, cB0, 910Mhz @140 -- will do 975@150 but I'm working on stability
  • Asus P2B; PCB Rev. 1.10; Bios 1012, Intel 440BX
  • Win98 OEM Full install
  • Generic PC100 RAM from Mwave.com almost 2 years old, does 140Mhz @2-2-2

Results:
133 - 398/443
140 - 440/488
Update: The Athlon gets higher marks because of it's DDR chipset speed, this allows alot more headroom with only the memory as the bottleneck....
imagine if VIA were able to optimize like Intel...

CPU/Memory Bandwith: 112
FPU/Memory Bandwith: 113

1. AMD K6-2 300 (100mhz bus)
2. Soyo 5EMA +
3. Windows 98
4. Generic PC100 (1 stick of 64mb)

At work

PIII600mhz
i810 mobo
128mb ram
Win2000

133mb/s
140mb/s

But thats with RC5, two RC5 logfile visualizers, 6 IE windows open, Ooutlook2000 and downloading a 10mb file.

Should be alot better without all that
