Why post two 100% conflicting quotes? Which do you agree with?

Also, T. Roosevelt is responsible for the downfall of this country. I wish someone had put a bullet in his head.

LOL.
Why not blame anarchist/socialist whacko Leon Czolgosz? After all, if he hadn't shot William McKinley in 1901, Roosevelt would most likely have faded into obscurity like most other vice presidents (many of his party-mates were actually banking on this trend because they wanted to get rid of him).

It's hard to hold a single person responsible, though. A lot of other presidents effed a lot of stuff up, too.

"Do you realize that in addition to fluoridating water, why, there are studies underway to fluoridate salt, flour, fruit juices, soup, sugar, milk, ice cream? Ice cream, Mandrake? Children's ice cream!...You know when fluoridation began?...1946. 1946, Mandrake. How does that coincide with your post-war Commie conspiracy, huh? It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual, and certainly without any choice. That's the way your hard-core Commie works. I first became aware of it, Mandrake, during the physical act of love...Yes, a profound sense of fatigue, a feeling of emptiness followed. Luckily I was able to interpret these feelings correctly. Loss of essence. I can assure you it has not recurred, Mandrake. Women...women sense my power, and they seek the life essence. I do not avoid women, Mandrake...but I do deny them my essence."

From what I learned in high school, which as far as politics go can be skewed, they didn't want him as governor so they put him as the VP.

But isn't it impossible to be an anarchist and a socialist at the same time? One wants no government, the other wants a ton of government.

LOL. So many great lines in that movie.

What'd Teddy do wrong?

But I, being poor, have only my dreams. I have spread my dreams under your feet. Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
