Lol @ the people who are unwilling to protect themselves
From what? I've been around for 41 years and have never "needed to protect myself." Truthfully of you do get in that situation it's going to happen so fast you won't be in a position to react. You're statistically more likely to be injured by that gun than protecting anyone.
I have a feeling that people carry guns because it makes them feel invincible, which is dangerous in itself.
LOL @ the people who are scared of their shadow.
LOL @ people who carry guns and knives around.

-3x AK74 magazines (only one shown) loaded with Soviet military surplus 7n6 spec 5.45x39. It has a armor piercing steel core so I can engage my target if he is wearing a bullet proof vest or is behind cover. It also is known for its devastating effects on human flesh, the Afghans called it the "poison bullet" during the Soviet-Afghan war.

Answer: Put down the guns and knives, don't take it out with you.
U mad that you're going to get eaten by the zombies because you don't carry an AK74 when you go out?
That won't happen, I'm absurdly prepared.
Also, In a zombie attack guns run out of ammo.
It will happen. Haven't you seen 28 days later? It's a documentary on what's going to happen to Britain when the zombies come.
That's what the bayonet is for. Besides I should have enough ammo to get me home, where I have a stockpile of about 5000 rounds of ammunition.
One article looking at many different studies:
Does Carrying a Firearm Make One Safer?
I am not advocating one position over another, just providing one link of many available.
