My brother carries a Maxpedition Lunata. Fits all his tools, stuff he travels with and best of all his .380.

The lunata is a bit bigger than may be needed, but it fits a iPAD inside it. The Remora is smaller.
 
Keys, phone (and thus P&S camera), wallet, pen, comb. If I'm going to be out doing something that might require some kind of knife or tool (fishing, hiking, etc.) then I might throw in a pocket knife or multi-tool.

The people that carry mutli-piece wilderness survival kits every day crack me up. Carrying a knife around or having a C&C permit is one thing, but I've talked to people that literally carry everything you'd need to survive a few days stranded in the woods. To each their own; if they're happy doing it, more power to them. I just think it looks silly when they show off everything they have for "preparedness" every chance they get.
