i replied to a topic similar to this not too long ago.(past 2 monthes)

I bundled most of my external cables that connect devices to the case.
I bought split flext tubing to bundle, my monitors vga and power cables,. also, my speaker cables to my sub have its own tubing incasing it.

I have 1 inch cable going to my main monitr( thicker vga and power cable). Inside that 1 inch tube is also the wires to my wirelss mouse/keyboard reciever and power cable to my usb hub.

I wish i had pics, but no digi cam for me :(.
Th insde of my case could be better, but i haven't had the chance to sleave and mod my case to get some cable management inside of it.

That's a mess. But, it's a mess of share lazyness. You can easily formulate management out of what you have there.

1) Route the Power supply 20/24 pin cable under the motherboard to come under the Power socket. There is alot of slack, and that can be hidden under the PCB itslef.

2.) Your SATA cables can also be routed on the under edge of the motherboard to meet the SATA header.

3.) Your USB/PCI header can be routed in parellel with the PCI slots to meet the header. Or, it can be routed right under the Audigy card and hooked back using an adhesive and zip ties to the PCI slot itself to secure it to meet the header.

4.) If those beige cables in the front of the chassis by the 80mm fans are Frontal USB/Firewire/Audio cables, that you're not going to use. Then zip tie them to the HDD cage up above threading the zip tie to the holes in the cage. As a harness.

Now oddly enough, that is in a way neat. There are no cables in the way of fans, and the motherboard and add-in cards are easily accessible.

My technique is called "aaaugh, screw this". The only wire management I use is velcro wire wraps. I love those things - very handy, and reusable.

I'd wind up making minor tweaks, adding small things, which often necessitated the removal of some subsystem, like the hard drive cage, that making the case neat would often just waste a lot of time. As the system stands now (this is my secondary system, mainly a server and TV recorder), the only dead zone is the usual spot - the bottom expansion cards. The videocard has a VGA Silencer rev3, so it's taken care of. Bottom card is a Promise SX4000, and I don't know how much heat it puts off. That's the only slot where such a long card would fit, due to the position of the hard drives, so the only way of getting that card better cooling would be a blower somewhere, or a chip heatsink. But again, I've never checked the temp of the main processor on the card, so I don't know how hot it gets.

Let me see if I can find a picture of my old attempt before I gave up...

EDIT: I gave up looking for the picture too :p

Decided on the Rockets did ya! They are real beauties!!

Make sure you don't touch the capacitators if you decide to open your PSU and touch everything!

mechBgon, it looks almost like you have wireless IDE on your hard drives. Do you? I mean, what are those things on your hard drives with the lights that plug into the IDE connector?

Yeah! I was wondering the same thing? Did you just fold the wires crisply close to the connector and cover with plastic?

Yeah, after looking around on the web, it seems that you are right. Now if only he would respond himself...

If you look up high in that photo, you can see that a bunch of cables go through a round hole up there (well, maybe you can't see it, oops). I was able to stash unused cables behind the mobo tray and also route others, including the main power cable, back that way too. You can do something similar on your SLK3000-B... there's a gap between the mobo tray and the 5.25" drive cage, and you can slip cables between them and route them down behind the HDD rack, including the main ATX cable if your mobo's layout encourages this. I don't have my digicam at home or I'd post some pics. Stashing unused cables back there will tidy things up too.

The PSU sits on a little shelf, and there's a gap at the rear end of it. You can route cables around the rear of the PSU and out that hole. I routed my 4-pin ATX12V cable that way since the fitting is near the upper-rear corner of the motherboard, and you can route fan cables that way too (take both side panels off to get at this easier).

The black Corsair modules add a really nice touch to your setup. That setup is very clean & organized. I think I might be borrowing an idea or two. :) The cable arrangement, that is,
