Hopefully is isolates out the vid card or my 5800u is going to drag mine down....It is much of an "Amd" benchmark IMO if it doesn't..otherwise it is another 3dmock!!!

I got a 2275 on my laptop.(AMD mobility 3000+ at 1900mhz)

Edit 1: Just ran it again at 2000mhz and got a 2510. Seems to be a pretty large jump for 100 more mhz.

Edit 2: Ran a second time at 2000mhz and got 2545

I remember with the old one that there was a disclaimer about not being for use in the U.S., anyone remember what the details of that were?

edit: Oddly the U.S. mirror wouldn't work just now, coincidence I suppose.

It looks to me this bench is heavily CPU influenced even for the 3D test. I get-

N-Bench Score 2388 Marks

FPS Average 59.97 FPS

with dual Opteron@1.7ghz 6800GT@431/1.1ghz.

Duvie has a very fast A64 and a 5800U and slaughters me in the 3D test. If the 3D test were using AA/AF and PS2 or better shaders then I imagine our 6800 GT would help a lot. I tried setting AA/AF and synch to off and changing IQ from HQ to HP and the score only changed by 8 points.

I agree I thought maybe this would be influenced by vid card power but it does not appear to be.....It looked like the 3d portion was done in low res and it was about pushing frames plain and simple....

I did it again and hit 3303....Going to drop my ram timing down to 2,3,3,8 and rerun...

May try to run at 2600mhz 8x325 to see if 433ddr ram and higher ram helps....

Play around with this a bit we may see what really controls this thing....

Wow, osage, how did you manage that score? My CPU is 200MHz faster and on an NF3 motherboard but you have me beat by 300+ points. I see that you have 2GB of RAM, I wonder if the benchmark is memory dependant?

not sure, I'm running it on my other S754 rig right now, it just has 2x512mb of ram and a Newcastle cpu.

could be the Clawhammer, could be the chipset.

OK system 2

A64 3000+ Newcastle S754 @2000mhz
ASrock K8S8X SiS 755+964
2x512 pc3200
Ti4200

2622 overall 1st pass all default setting, nothing is OCed, no restart

big difference
