Hmm I must be stupid or something... I don't see a custom setting checkbox.

The "select" and "change" buttons under the tests and settings columns are greyed out, so are the image quality and texture filtering buttons.

Vortex22: You are not alone, I guess only the CD version lets you customize your test settings. That means we cant go down to below 640x480 to get good scores. :)

what are you talking about? every test loaded in less than 2 sec, most where less than 1 sec. on my sys. Maybe you got a disk I/O problem.

if anyone looks it says "Max Ansiotrpopy 4" maybe that means it's enabling 4X Ansio automaticaly! This could be for the less than great scores we are seeing. My 9700Pro with P4 2.63Ghz DDR413 Cas2 is only scoring a 4761. In 3dmark 2k1SE I get 15,755 and UT2003 gives me a solid 60FPS at 8x ansio and 2X AA 1024x768. So this benchmak to me is pretty useless. If the latest game runs fine and fast with the settings up there I don't think a benchmark matters. Becides...no game out in the near future will be using DX9 even a bit.

4234 with Radeon 9700 Pro. That second game, Battle of whatever, ate my system alive. It's nice to get 5 fps every once in a while.

really weird ....i got a score of 578 w. AXP 1838 mghz and R9500Pro ...wuts up w/ that?

btw does this have to do w/ ur desktop settings too..i.e. AA and AF settings (which i have at 4x and 16x respecitively)

I got 4277 right after installing my new 9700 Pro. My specs are:

Alienware Aurora DDR
Asus K7N266-C
Athlon XP 2200+
512MB DDR 2100
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
SoundBlaster Live 5.1
40GB Seagate 7200rpm HD

Is that score any good? Hopefully after I format it'll go up.

Of course it does.

well i just changed the AA and AF settings to application pref. and the main settings all the way to the left...now i have a score of 465...this makes absolutely no sense at all

You sure it's really 465? I had large fonts installed and it looked like mine was 585 when it was really 1585 because the "1" got cut off.

i'll check the fonts again....but i had 10-20fps for proxycon and 15-25 fps for troll

UPDATE: tried changin the fonts thru windows but still couldnt get it small enough...it looks like there might be some clipping in the numbers
