I have bumped up a pair of projects to 250M lately, Universe and PrimeGrid. Universe was intentional, PrimeGrid is ONLY from running the challenges, lol. I am not patting myself too hard on the back though, both projects pay exceptionally well. And Universe with updated Linux just made it even easier to score ridiculous points. 🙂

Well, just a few hours ago TAAT just passed the 1,000,000,000 credit mark in WCG. Congratz!!!

Two days ago, the TeAm arrived at 10,000,000,000 in GPUGrid. :-D

And today, we got to 200,000,000 in NumberFields.

(We also went up from 22th to 15th in team ranking at GPUGrid during December. And went from 15th to 10th during December, and to 9th today in the team ranking at NumberFields.)

On March 31, the volunteer computing part of SETI@home will stop distributing work and will go into hibernation.

We're doing this for two reasons:

1) Scientifically, we're at the point of diminishing returns; basically, we've analyzed all the data we need for now.

2) It's a lot of work for us to manage the distributed processing of data. We need to focus on completing the back-end analysis of the results we already have, and writing this up in a scientific journal paper.
