Equipment used and relevant information are included with each shot.

I was outside doing some spring fever stuff with my plants, and I spent like a half an hour just combing through the moss and stuff as I transplanted things.. I saw a couple things that made me think of you. ;)

A cool spider that made itself straight and hid behind needles on one of my trees., some unknown eggs tucked inside a tuft of moss... and just a bunch of other stuff.. lol

It's amazing what you can see when you stare at the same place long enough...

Today I stopped at a little grotto in a town near where I live. It's sandstone, with water seeping out of it in places. It had all kinds of mosses and liverworts and lichens growing all over it. There's a sidewalk right next to it, and it's in the parking lot of a hospital. People walk right beside it everyday and probably never realize the wealth of life living there. I could take pictures there for a year and still get new stuff. Of course I'd look kind of funny hanging out at a hospital taking pictures of a rock, but whatever:p There's just no end to the variety of living things all around us. All we have to do is look for them.

Not my own work, but a good friend took this with a Olympus C-300 Zoom 3.3 Megapixel camera.

I dont take many photos. I took these with my DSC-F707
I had to chop the size down so if you see any pixels, you know why.
