Here's mine

Crumpler 6 Million Dollar Home with Crumpler "Baby Scarer" attached on the side for my Lumix LZ8 (yep, decided to get another one). Pic was taken with the LZ8 at ISO 400...pretty good for a P&S.

So, what are you guys putting your gear in?
 
My system currently has three bags. Bags 1 (Lowepro) and 2 (Quantaray) are storage, and for some major treks. They are both backpacks. Bag 2 also has a laptop compartment. Bag 3 (Lowepro) is my "normal" job bag. Carries the camera (EOS 5d) and side pouches for lenses, flash, or what have you.

The nature of the shoot, travel, and mission determine what goes and what stays.
 
I just stash the 5D in to my Jack Space work bag 😛

I have no photos of my camera bag, but it's a Crumpler 7 Million Dollar Home in black. I have a separate Lowepro Nova 1 for use with a single lens and flash.
 
LowePro Sling 300. Houses my D90, N90, Contax G1, 28-200 AFS, 80-200 2.8, 50mm 1.8, 18-200mmVR, 10-20mm, SB600 flash, 6 rolls of film, 8 SD cards, filters, batteries, chargers and various other widgets. I Haven't tried to attach the Bogen. If only I could fit the 50-500mm I'd be set!

 
don't have a pic, but generally carry my medium timbuk2 messenger bag w/ a tenba insert. At home, it's all stored in a lowepro AW300 sling and Tamrac Velocity 7 (the old style).

When are you going to upgrade to a waterproof GI laundry bag? They are good in the shower as well as the rain. 🙂
 
Nothing but the best for my gear! Oooo... why would you want a laundry bag to be waterproof? I'd think wet clothes and stuff would fester in such an enclosure.

That way I can swim with my gear, dragging it behind me on a rope. Some sort of waterproof box might be better though. It would also help if I could swim.

and there's a laptop slot in between your back and the rest of the backpack. it fits my point-and-shoot's battery charger, iPod, ThinkPad X61t with extended battery, and still has wiggle room for a few magazines.
for travel I attach the SB-800 in its pouch to the exterior of the backpack and normally don't take the 24-85mm, which gives me room for laptop/iPod/phone chargers and two eyeglasses cases for airplane travel. furthermore I can tuck my over-ear headphones up under the center of the lid.
for backpacking I take almost everything out (battery grip, card readers, chargers, other unneeded accessories), leaving only the lenses and filters that I will need. this leaves quite a lot of room for food and water bottles and lightens up the pack considerably. plus all the attachment loops on the sides.

My mistake! I misspoke. What I was thinking of the the rubberized bag used to store a sleeping bag in. It sort of looks like a laundry bag. 🙂

holy moly, thats one big tripod. i was thinking of buying the same setup, 055 legs and 488 head but amazon is out of stock right when i got permission to buy. how long are the two collapsed as pictured? i might have to get the 190 legs instead...

get the 190 legs with the 488RC2 head. that's what I would do if I was buying again.

I used to have a picture now....but recently got a Kata DR467 as I needed more space than the LowePro Slingshot 100 had. It would be perfect if it only had a functional water bottle holder and a place to put my tripod!
