I thought everyone loved Bloodsport. :hmm:

Yeah, same.

I think one of the biggest things I miss about being a kid is the lazy summer days of watching kung-fu marathons on TV. Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Bloodsport, all the good stuff for hours on end.

Rutger Hauer & Kim Catrall

Loved that movie :)

Ishtar -- many people don't realize that the songs were supposed to be that terrible, despite being co-written by Paul Williams (Phantom of the Paradise, "We've Only Just Begun", Smokey & the Bandit).

I loved this movie growing up. You gonna try and tell me that Tom Selleck battling evil Gene Simmons and his army of robot spiders is a bad movie? Screw you, pal. Screw you!

In my opinion, Jodorowsky's Santa Sangre is his masterpiece. Every scene is just amazing. The Holy Mountain and El Topo were okay, but not at the level of Santa Sangre.

Santa Sangre is AWESOME!
But I cant compare it to Holy Mountain or El Topo.

Santa Sangre has an actual narrative, and, crazy surreal nonstop insanity.

The Holy Mountain's narrative is so convoluted that its irrelevant to the story.

Jodorowski is awesome.

I don't watch too many movies these days but I always liked these crappy movies:
Wild things
Time Bandits
Gremlins
The Goonies
A christmas story
SyFy's "Mosquitos"
The original fast and furious
Ghostbusters
2 lane blacktop

Time Bandits was frickin' awesome. It also gets 91% on Rotten Tomatoes. Several in that list are quite good. In fact, I'd say Ghostbusters and Gremlins are classics.

Cable Guy I like too, but it actually gets mediocre reviews, not crappy reviews.

I dislike Water World though, but that also actually gets mediocre reviews, and slightly better than Cable Guy.

The Weatherman, I really don't know what I like about this movie, I think it's the parts when its his inner monolog is talking.

Out Cold
Freddie Got Fingered

I don't need your forgiveness.
You might be the only other person I know of that liked Freddy Got Fingered, besides my friend Mike (we were seniors in high school when it came out and were shitting ourselves in anticipation of it).

I've been trying to find movies that are rated bad that I like, but the only one so far that I can think of off the top of my head is Chronicles of Riddick.

Other movies I thought of like Eating Raoul get middling reviews.

I also thought of...

For Your Height Only (movie about a midget superspy in the Phillipines)
Incubus (movie with William Shatner, but completely in Esperanto)
The Human Centipede (I think everyone has heard of this)

...but I didn't actually like any of those movies.

And many of the bad ratings came from watching the theatrical cut, which chopped away key bits of the story.

The unrated / director's version was a fun B-movie.

Yes, Time Bandits is a great movie. I didn't like Ghostbusters at all.

The Fast and the Furious (first), is IMO a very decent movie.

Hmmm... Didn't know that. I'll have to go look up the differences.

Judi Dench's talents were wasted in that movie IMO though.
