Was just about to post this. Check out CNN, they are saying it could be the sniper because even though weekend it is around the right time period. Also, witness saw the white van, again. Wouldn't this guy realize to get a new car??

well, this guy is sure digging a deeeeep grave for himself...cant see any pity (less that Walker Lindh IMO) for this guy at his trial...it is just a matter of time before he is caught, just hope it is sooner than later.

This whole white can with a ladder rack is ridiculous. You can go out to any busy street anywhere in America, and chances are you'll be able to spot a white can with a ladder rack somewhere in viewing distance. Maybe this guy is only shooting when he himself sees a white van around so they will see the white van as the common denominator, and he is driving away in his red Taurus wagon.
That's exactly the point that I was going to state. It's very easy to wait for a white van to be driving by, then pull the trigger. Since the news stations have "brainwashed" people into thinking it's a white van - that's all they look for when the shootings happen.Originally posted by: Beast1284

Whoever this guy is he's no fool, its too easy to get caught. He seems to know the DC area pretty well too. When they catch up to him tho I doubt they will be taking him in alive tho.

It's pretty hard to commit suicide with the length of a sniper's weapon, isn't it? I really don't know the details of the type of weapons that can hold a .223, so I'm just assuming it's relatively difficult to pull the trigger on himself.

A Contender is a pistol, could work. You could do it with a rifle, Kurt Cobain did it with a shotgun.
Some models of AR-15s, have a collapsable stock. If the shooter has such a "stubby" device, then suicide would be quite easy and he/she wouldn't need to extened their arms too far to do it.Originally posted by: rh71
