Still in critical condition, they haven't removed the bullet, and they aren't going to go out of their way to remove it until he stabilizes. They had to remove his spleen, part of his stomach, and part of another organ . . . pancreas? There was a lot of contamination of the stomach cavity, so peritonitis is a distinct possibility. They're going to operate on him again tonight or tomorrow morning, but the doctor seemed pretty confident that the victim will survive.
