A comedian shouldn't have to explain himself or kiss someones ass after a joke. I actually wish he hadn't done that, it kinda made him look like a pussy. He probably had to though, since people are all tight-asses these days.
 
Hey... Danica was still a Champion this year. Too bad it was on Celebrity Chopped instead of on the track.

Perhaps she missed her calling, and should open a trackside bistro in Daytona instead 🙂
 
She just proves that women don't belong in racing. Any woman that tries to race after her will have it 10x harder unless she's hot.

My opinion is that Daytona is still a great spectacle but its not the spectacle that it used to be... NASCAR has made compromises to be as successful as they are now. It is however not clear that that success is sustainable.

Now, as a celebrity, would it have been smarter for her to roll with the comic punches? Of course.

But you know what? Inside her head this competitive young woman probably thinks of herself more as a race driver striving to compete with her peers than she does as a celebrity famous for being female.

She's not a bitch for not taking a joke well. It makes her look up tight and too self serious, two vices that a man can suffer from just as easily. I'd think the same if it were that type of show, with shots being taken at celebrities in movies, tv, music, politics, or sports.

So what if she's only a decent professional driver who gets attention and $$$ for being a hottie? She's still good enough to stay in the middle of the pack (not a racing fan... this is an accurate assessment, right?) of a very competitive sport. Calling her a dumb bitch over this makes me think the op is a raging misogynist.

I don't think a smiley would change the tone. If anything, it would make you seem like even more of a misogynist. Of course there are worse things that can be said, but that's hardly a valid justification. If you really feel that she's a dumb bitch, that's fine, but you've based it on practically nothing as far as this thread is concerned other than her understandable reaction to a lame joke.

I have no idea who anyone is in that video but she doesn't look so much offended as "Shit dude you're drowning up there. Shut the fuck up and move on to something funny, this is embarrassing for everyone."
