If it was consensual there should be no way you get life in prison, that is crazy!

If it was actual ABUSE, like rape or something, then sure... even then it might be SLIGHTLY harsh but I wouldn't have a problem with it.

And yes, it's also kind of funny how a 28yo guy having (consensual) sex with a 14yo girl makes him a total sicko, but if the genders are reversed it's like "way to go kid!". But that just speaks to how much more sexual desire men have than women. Sorry ladies.

Well he is below the age of legal consent, so in the eyes of the law it was not consensual. Same way that I could convince a 14 year old girl to perform sexual acts with me, but it wouldn't be okay in court because she said I could.
