Mine's on the bottom of my screen, while it can be repositioned, I don't see why anyone would. It's easiest on the eyes for it to be down at the bottom where you aren't really paying attention to it. 🙂

Hey, I guess I'll break the trend. Mine's on the left with autohide on. You can fit so many more shortcuts in the quicklaunch bar, and you can see much more of the titles of open programs on the bar when you have a ton of apps running.
 
Yeah but the problem with that is that you can't see what the program is. Like say you have four IE windows open, you can't tell which one is which.
