Mine looks like yakko's but with no autohide. You're File, Edit and View menus are all at the top, as well as the maximize, minimize and close buttons. Having the Taskbar at the top means less up'n'down mouse cursor travel. Makes sense to me.

on the left side; i can fit more open programs into it than if it was on the bottom. of course, it'd be a lot smaller but i can still tell what each open program is. and a big plus is i get to add more quicklaunch icons into it since i only have 3 icons on the desktop for aesthetic purposes
