(I wonder if I can ask this without religion being mentioned)... I believe in waiting, but I don't do it because of religious reasons...
 
Am I going to screw every chick I can? No.

Am I going to have sex with a girl I love, even if we know we aren't going to get married? Yes.

Sex isn't just fun, it can be the nicest thing you can do for/with someone else. Especially if you're a "considerate lover". At least, that's what all my ladyfriends keep telling me. Again. And again. And again.
 
Some people think it's fine. Some people don't. The latter group will cave and do it anyway, except in a tiny, tiny minority of cases.

Skoorb, I think this can be directly related to your thread regarding young women and the people on this forum. The age factor is definately at play here.

No it's more like testing the acceleration/torque of a car you already like...

If you love the car but the torque is mediocre, you can still live with it because everything else is enough to keep you satisfied... and you can still show it off.
 
I guess it depends on your viewpoint. Some will respect those who choose to wait, while looking down on those who try desperately but fail. I choose to wait.
 
I have before marriage and will continue. Sex isn't that big of a deal when all things are said and done.

I've heard people say that they weren't ready for sex the first time that they did it but never that they wish they waited till marriage.

I think it's very rare that anybody is ready for their first time. A lot of unfamiliar flesh and whatnot. But you learn quick.

Well of course... obviously you want them for sex and they'd be of no use to you if they don't want to, no matter the excuse.
