I do, then I deposit it into a little piggy bank that was purchased just for that purpose. I net at least $20.00 every 6 moths.
 
Same here. I just cashed in nearly $50 that I collected in about a year. My friends laugh at me and then I buy them lunch with the money anyway. 😉

Not quite $20 though. That is 2000 pennies, or 10 a day on average. What do you do, walk around for 8 hours a day?

I work for a very large company, there are at least 3 different breakrooms that I frequent for coffee. For some reason people dump their pennies on top of vending machines. I've found as many as 10-15 in one visit. We are 24/7 operation and there appx 6000 employees here.
 
I have a big water jug that I put all my change in. I used to do casino cups. I would get about $50 (various denominations of coins) from one of those. It will take me years to fill the water jug but when I do, it will be quite a bit of cash and I'll use it for something nice.

My ex-gf's dad did this with a big Galliano bottle. It would take him about 4 years to fill it, but he would get hundreds of dollars out of it and buy himself something nice whenever he filled it up.

6000 is nothing. There are 10 times that were I work. So big we have our own food court that can serve just under 10k people an hour.

I probably find on average a nickel every day. Maybe. Soemtimes I find a dolalr and whoop for joy!
 
It's just a penny. So I didn't capitalize on the opportunity to gain one cent. You, on the other hand, will spend thousands on a chiropractor to fix the screwed up back you have from bending over 4000 times a year just to gain $40.

I shoudl also say that is the max building occupancy. I think it is a little over 10k now.

5cents and up for me... else I don't bother. The filth on those things! It's a lot cleaner if it's worth 5c or more though. 😉
