<< Hey GoldenBear, let people have an opinion on it. We don't all think it's as good as you think it is. >>
My gripe is that people have seen one game, and they're making a million judgments on everything else and its fate. And I don't believe this forum is filled with any psychics.
<< Watching a little of the game >>
No need to read more, the fact that you saw a "little of the game" just ruins whatever credibility you have to say about it.
<< As much as he seems to be talking it up maybe he has some stock in NBC. >>
No I don't. But your reasoning of argument comes from the fact that, "I don't like wrestling, I didn't want to like the XFL, therefore I don't like it."
<< What kind of statement is this? Hey, I could be the greatest announcer ever if I actually wrote out what I was going to say beforehand. >>
1) Did you see the football game today? Considering the level of talent, Jim Ross commentated from, he's truly up there with the top announcers.
2) Obviously and unsurprisingly I don't think you've ever seen a wrestling match in which Ross has poetically and beautifully illustrated it. And no very few people can match it even if they knew what was to happen. But I can't tell you that, you'd really have to listen to understand. And please, I don't want to hear much more until you've seen King of the Ring '98 with Undertaker and Foley.
