LOL, maybe saying moron was a bit harsh but after seeing it in action time after time at various autocross events I seriously can't see how it's the wussiest car.

VW Beetle. Turtle shell with wheels. As far as Miata's, there is a guy up in my area who put's 5.0 302's into them. Not very wussy after that. Putting a V8 in a little car like that yields one psycho sleeper.

Anyway, the Cabrio is definitely the wussiest ride mentioned. Geo Metro/Suzuki Swift are alright - they are just small economical cars like the Civic. Wussy, but NOWHERE near as wussy as the Cabrio. Bleeeeech! It's like ... a convertible Cavalier. *barf*

The car is modified with custom engine mounts, and the frame is fortified with some braces IIRC. They are also converted to RWD using basically Fox body Mustang parts converted for the application. Not cheap no doubt, but the one I saw driven was pretty nutty. Without the hood open, you had no idea...although it sounded like a 5.0 Mustang when it was running.
