altima is a lot more practical

i would never own a wrx as a primary car

altima 240 hp vs wrx 227?

there isnt much difference there.

wrx major advantage is AWD so it will handle very well and if you go skiiing a lot / go up to the mountains i would pick it

for daily normal driving altima wins because you can actually sit it in comfortably with 4 passengers and it has a whole lot of trunk space

Yeah, HP is about the same, but the WRX is smaller and lighter. Plus, that turbo is nice to have.

still wouldnt turbo only affect it at higher altitudes

its not like the wrx would have 227 HP without TURBO

it just makes a normally 160-180 HP engine output 227 HP because turbo makes the engine more efficient

i agree the WRX is faster but only slightly

are you all insane??! first of all, the 240 vs 227 is irrelevant. one is a 240V6 and much heavier, the other is a 227hp i-4 awd and is MUCH faster. 0-60 for the wrx stock is 5.4. remove the catalytic converters (only inserted to meet emission standards... japanese version doens't have them) and this literally competes with the M3 with a 0-60 of ~4.8sec. altima & maxima = ownage?? maybe in the looks department... i admit the wrx isn't the greatest looking car, but performance wise, nissan can't compare (except the skyline of course)
