I wasn't going to watch it anyway. Reagan is in my personal Top-10 Presidents list, there was no way I was going to watch his legacy get crucified by a pseudo-historical documentary.

top 10 huh? a man that negotiated with terrorists😛 giving terrorists what they want does what?

a man that left with his tail between his legs after hundreds of american soldiers were killed by a suicide bomber.

if he were a democrat, limbaugh would never stop ranting.

A man who won the cold war, eliminating the constant fear of nuclear annihilation at the hands of the Soviets and possible saving the lives of hundreds of millions of people.
A man who helped bring freedom from dictatorship to the peoples of the U.S.S.R.
A man who was instrumental in bringing freedom and unification to Germany.
A man who's economic policy helped reduce the unemployment rate in the US from 9.5% to 5% in a 6 year period.

yeah, i'm sure the fall of the USSR had nothing to do with their long-standing infrastructure problems and lack of money and everything to do with Reagan escalating nuclear tension. he didn't "win" anything. the conflict ended in spite of him. you act like something he did caused it to end, but he just happened to be in office when the USSR fell.

your first three "big accomplishments" are all the same thing. your last is a nice way to distract us from the economic carnage he unleashed on our country.

yup, all his points were beyond weak.

reagan by best estimates sped up the fall of the soviets by meer months.

"I don't think it [the arms spending race] contributed at all. The Soviet Union was a victim of battles within the country itself. We saw that the country was not adapting to the challenges of science and technology, that it missed the boat on structural reforms.People were not free, they were unhappy, and this could not be ignored. The arms race was not decisive."

Gorbachev

what reagan did was continue the tried and true containment policies started by presidents before him, starting with Harry S. Truman. didn't know that huh? guess some like to take all the credit for work of others. the soviets couldn't even deal with afganistan, mostly thanks to a democratic senator and the cia that secretly funded and armed the opposition and made the ussr bleed.
