My vote goes to NK, with or without US on the list. They are just down right scary.

It's a tossup between generalized Islamic terrorism and NK weapons proliferation.

N Korea is primarily a threat to itself.

Of the countries you listed India/Pakistan has the greatest potential for a real threat to international security. All the rest are gnats in comparison.

Wow, it didn't take very long for someone to say the US. If you are a US citizen and that is your belief, I will buy you an airplane ticket to emigrate to someplace truly safe like Iraq or NK.......:)

I said Palestine. Not that they're threatening as a entity, but resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict would help end a lot of violence around the world.

I'm a US citizen and believe the current administration is the greatest threat to international security. As stated policy, we believe we can violate the sovereignty of other nations on the basis of perceived threat. Our current campaign not only exemplifies that principle but introduces another, we will violate the sovereignty of other nations on the basis of our ability to do so.

We promise to rebuild these nations . . . since we are at war with their leadership . . . not the people. But since there is no controlling legal authority (or military force) to make us honor such agreements, other nations are pretty much guaranteed a major butt kicking if they piss us off . . . but don't hold your breath for nation-building afterwards.

The only saving grace for the world at large . . . after more Bush tax cuts and a sputtering world economy . . . we won't be able to afford to kick everybody's arse.

We are. When good people do nothing, bad things happen. That is how 9/11 happened. We did nothing to stop it. Maybe now we will be more alert and vigilant.

What exactly did you want good people to do before 9/11?

How about the CIA and FBI do their damn jobs instead of turfing?

How about the State Dept give a flying crap about who gets visas?

How about the government impose a high standard of security at airports (and on airliners) instead of bowing to airlines bitching about how much it costs?

9/11 could have been prevented by a lot of good people doing something different . . . but it no way justifies our actions in Iraq.

Apples and oranges, baby . . . fruit that grow on trees . . . otherwise a BS comparison.

I want to protest on behalf of India and Pakistan that they should be separate choices on this poll.

I agree. It's not like there are a whole lot of Hindu extremists from India exporting terrorism in the name of Vishnu.

I wonder how many Germans once said the same thing?

I would like to see you do that! You do realize that you would have to pay quite a lot of money (in the billions) to ship the said people out of this country, right? :)

Well, if you're going to add the US, why not go completely unbiased and add China, Russia, France, The EU as a whole and especially Germany? I mean Germany was the originating force in both world wars so.................;)

wrong. WW1 was started by the austro-hungarian empire. i'm not saying that germany wasn't a willing participant though.
