Hey......... I'm a Mariners fan 😛 There still number one in my books but I think the Yanks will take it all 🙂

Cheers,
Aquaman

Hey Prodigey, I actually hate the Blue Jays. Mainly because I hate how all the people in Canada jump on the band wagon when the Jays do good, and never follow baseball otherwise. I've been a Braves fan almost all of my life. (I'm only 16 tho 😛)

i must repeat the WHITE SOX will win the world series no doubt...and besides whos gonna stop EL SENOR ORDONEZ! and don't forget the big hurt!

I like the Braves. Maddux is on fire right now, Glavine is cooling down.. but Braves offense is getting better as of late.

<< This poll has no validity. You included the Mariners on the list. >>

I included all teams that as of Saturday, were either leading their division (obviously), or had a chance, slight as it may be (read: Anaheim Angels) at the Wild Card.

Ne0, you're right about Maddux being on fire. 36+ straight scoreless innings is quite the feat. But the question is, can he sustain that throughout October? 😉

It's gonna be the Braves all the way, this year will mark their 10th straight year in the post-season. Braves baby with the best pitching staff in the nation.

NL Playoffs: Giants, Cardinals, Braves, Mets (Wild Card)
AL Playoffs: White Sox, Yankees, Mariners, A's (Wild Card)

American League's a little iffy, haven't really kept up with them as I have National.

Okay, probably the team to beat in the NL is the Giants. If the Cardinals can get their act together and get into second place overall, they won't have to face the Giants until second round. COUNT OUT the Braves. They don't have the pitching that they used to and Smoltz is out. So if everything works out the way I want it to, Giants and Cardinals will fight for the World Series spot. I THINK the Cards can do it, but Bonds is just as tough on the road as he is at home.

American League...I'm hoping the Mariners and Yankees will go away with an A's and White Sox match. If that were to happen, I think the A's will be the underdog and go to the World Series. Of course, the Indians could still win the Wild Card, I hope not though.

I HOPE TO GOD that it isn't another Yankees/Braves, Indians/Braves, or just plain Braves World Series. That's all it's been for the last 5 or 6 years (except when the Padres went, what a blowout that was). Honestly, I think the best match would be the A's and the Cardinals. But I think the Giants could go all the way...we'll see.

<< I will laugh rhythmically when the A-T-L Braves smash every single one of your teams...INCLUDING the Yankees. >>

And I will laugh rhythimically when the S-T-L Cardinals sweep the lowly A-T-L Braves..

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahah!! 😛 😛 😛 😛
