NL Playoffs: Giants, Cardinals, Braves, Mets (Wild Card)
AL Playoffs: White Sox, Yankees, Mariners, A's (Wild Card)
American League's a little iffy, haven't really kept up with them as I have National.
Okay, probably the team to beat in the NL is the Giants. If the Cardinals can get their act together and get into second place overall, they won't have to face the Giants until second round. COUNT OUT the Braves. They don't have the pitching that they used to and Smoltz is out. So if everything works out the way I want it to, Giants and Cardinals will fight for the World Series spot. I THINK the Cards can do it, but Bonds is just as tough on the road as he is at home.
American League...I'm hoping the Mariners and Yankees will go away with an A's and White Sox match. If that were to happen, I think the A's will be the underdog and go to the World Series. Of course, the Indians could still win the Wild Card, I hope not though.
I HOPE TO GOD that it isn't another Yankees/Braves, Indians/Braves, or just plain Braves World Series. That's all it's been for the last 5 or 6 years (except when the Padres went, what a blowout that was). Honestly, I think the best match would be the A's and the Cardinals. But I think the Giants could go all the way...we'll see.
