Who will win Super Bowl XXXVIII?

The real question is how big the line will end up being, and if Carolina will cover the spread. The over/under might end up being interesting though.

It will open with the Patriots -7. Over/Under 37, but both lines are expected to move.

Pats, although it won't be a blowout. These are two very similar teams stylistically, and I expect a lot of heavy hits without very many points.

As to the comment that it will be boring, it won't be for me. Watching the Pats play is like watching a chess match. They take the opposition's single greatest strength, and eliminate it. Then, they wait for the opponent to make a mistake with their only partially effective offense. After they inevitably make one, the Pats just simply hold that lead and work it until time runs out. It's really fascinating to watch.

Ironically, the Pats offense is actually the best suited one for facing the Pats defense. They have several receivers who are all on about equal footing. As a result, if one is taken out, it's not a huge loss.

Just thought I'd throw that comment out there.

Patriots. I've been saying all year that the AFC is far better than the NFC.
