When you hang up a shirt in the closet, which way does the front of the shirt face?

Mine face to the left an dhere's why:
I'm right handed
I put the shirt on the hanger with the shirt facing me.
Since I'm Right Handed, I then drop my left hand and use my right to hang up the shirt.
This results in the shirt facing to the left.

My wife of course always faces shirts to the right...

Posting from a hotel with a crappy internet so let's see if the poll goes through....

I'm left-handed but use either hand for hanging up shirts, so it's a mix of which way they face.

My shirts face both ways. On the right half of my closet, they face left, and on the left half of my closet, they face right.

I think I did it by accident when I first moved in, and i've since kept the pattern

Right handed, and they face to the right.
I put the shirt on the hanger facing away from me.

Exactly... I'm not real consistent (sp?) when I'm hanging up laundry.

The only time I think about it is when I have the jerseys from my son's hockey team... then I make sure they're all the same direction, making it easier to distribute them in the locker room.

Right handed facing left. My wife is also right handed but when she hangs up shirts they face to the right. That always confuses me when I grab a shirt that she hung up.

left handed. I use different logic than the OP. it has to do with looking through my shirts. I do it with my left hand, and drag them out and to the left while still on the rack. it would be awkward if they faced left.

Hmm, misread the title. Thought this thread was about being shit faced, not shirt faced.

You had to hang stuff in a closet in the Army? When I was in the Navy everything was folded and stowed in bins in bootcamp. We had closets in the barracks after bootcamp but there was no requirement for stuff to be hanged a certain way for room inspections. Onboard ship it was back to little lockers with everything folded and stowed.

In basic we had this thing like an armoire. All uniforms had to be hung up facing left two inches apart.
