This watch will be for both every day wear (khakis, nice sweater...) and going to Temple.

I'm still likin' that blue faced eco-drive. :)

zippy, I've found that watches are like anything else: you get what you pay for. It sounds like you've budgeted about $200. Some fairly nice watches can be had for that cost. Consider also what will be the uses for your new watch: dress, work, sport, all-around casual. How accurate or rugged does it have to be?

My everyday watch is a Citizen Eco-Drive Titanium Alarm-Chrono (blue dial). It's light-weight, rugged and useful. And because of the nature of my work and hobbies, I acually use the functions almost on a daily basis. It's more tool than anything else.

I don't know if you've considered it, but Seiko also makes some nice watches for reasonable prices.

Feister is rigght of course. Citizen and Seiko both make very good watches (Seiko is Pulsar's big brother and Japanese movements now are considered at least as good as Swiss movements).

I have a Seiko and it is a very good watch (Although i do want a Seamaster-because its pure class)

<< A watch isnt supposed to hang over your hand and a rolex worn like that makes the guy wearing it look like a pompous @$$ w/o any class and style >>

AfterBurn,

Spoken like someone who buys plastic watches at KMart. Some day, when you grow up and have some money, maybe you could trade up to WalMart. Then again, maybe not.

Here's the Citizen Eco Drive I bought last year from Ashford.com... got it in silver though. Use it for everyday use, love everything about it so far except that it doesn't have glow in the dark hands... hard as hell to see at night.

Oh Russ, touchy eh? I must be closer to the truth than you like if you take it that personal and give such a reply. Maybe when you grow up you will understand what i meant, instead of reading it like a personal attack.
