#1 a bigger picture of this watch- $113
#2 - $203
#3 - $100 - Out of contention because I don't like how it says the day of the week, not the number of the day. :p
#4 - $76 - Out of contention, I don't like how small the actual watch face is in comparison to the full watch face (including the surrounding metal.
#5 - $108

Vote please! :)

I like nos. 1 and 3, but if you end up getting #5 you really should track down a $50 off $100 coupon.

Number 1. It is simple, elegant, yet at the same time, masculine. It is clearly a man's timepiece that reeks of an understated sense of style without sacrificing a rugged look.

I like my Swiss Army watch that was around 200$ with stainless steel that doesn't reflect a fake glow :)

Impact55 - Is your Swiss Army the one that has Thermometer, Barometer, and Altimeter ??

I want that one, so cool

My philosophy -- the more dials the better, to a point. I have to go with #5, the multi-dial watches just have the ability to show more information at a glance, that and I like playing with all the adjustments. :) Seriously though, #5 is a good looking watch and Pulsar is a good manufacturer.

Personally I don't like any of them. They all seem too common these days. The #1 watch seems like the face is quite small. I would look at the Luminoxs and the Swiss Armies.

Oh ok...If your wrist is small, look for Swiss Police watches...I saw them in a watch store when I was in Jamaica and I really liked them.

Ultima, I am having trouble finding someplace that sells swiss police watches. Do you happen to know any?

prodigy, quite honestly I don't even like #5. :p

I will ask my friend how big the watch face is on his Roamer watch (he has #2 except with a leather band) and if it is only 1mm or so smaller than the last watch I linked (the eco-drive with a blue face), then I will get the eco-drive. :) Damn that watch is nice!

Zippy,

Don't worry about having a slender wrist. A metal link style band and large dial is supposed to be worn loose and look oversized. Next time you see somebody wearing a Rolex, note how much play is in the band.

If you buy a smaller watch simply because you want it to "fit", it will look effeminate. Besides, your wrist will fatten up as you grow older.

And, avoid watches with "doo-dads". The busier a watch looks, the cheaper it looks, no matter how much it actually cost.

Russ, true, true. It could be that I hate big watches because my second cousin gave me an ugly ass fossil watch 2 years ago with a leather band. The face is 40-41mm in diameter and 10mm in depth...talk about a big watch! LOL, at the time that she gave it to me I was about 5' 100lbs. :p I just tried it on again last night and it is still pretty big on my wrist. It's probably because the leather band.

I really like that blue faced ecodrive...<drool>

illkid, yeah, 3,4,5 are out. That's a nice watch there. I like some of the other nixon watches better (i'm looking around their site), but that's probably because I'm not big on watches that aren't metal band (bracelet).

illkid,

Slap a stainless steel band on that puppy, and it would definitely be a keeper. That's a very nice piece.

Zippy,

You are correct in assuming that a leather banded watch should be worn differently then a steel band. A large face on a leather band DOES look stupid.
