Antisocial-Virge, as a fan of muscle cars, either way, you're in a win/win situation :)

I put the term "rice" in quotes boyracer because I'm not sure how one would define the term "rice." I don't use the term to offend anyone or the like :)

oh i'm not offended... :) but general consensus around here is that any car out of japan is now called rice. :(

rice = posers IMHO so i'm all for muscle cars. :D

He sold a AAR Plum Crazy Cuda with a 340 6 pack to buy this one. He said the AAR was much nicer shape than his present one but this one looks almost showroom so I imagine his AAR must have mint. I'll get pics of it next time I see it.

Most of my life I dreamed of owning a muscle car... good old Detroit steel.
Now that I am older I cant afford the gas in any way shape or form.

I have a new passion towards imports.... but they never will replace the original
muscle cars for me.

My daily driver was a 78 tbirb for the last 5 years... 5 MPG in the city tops.

I am still trying to sell the car for $600 and it is damn near perfect.... nobody wants to buy
a gas guzzling car right now.

Car has a 351M ( alone worth the price ) Runs perfect.. burns NO oil. Suspention is PERFECT.... will go 100 MPH with no vibration.
BRAND NEW tires and wheels,.... over $500 alone... tires still have the bumpy little knobs on them.

This car was appraised at over $5k a few years ago. Now NOBODY wants it.

Peace

I don't consider the RX7, last generation Supras, 300ZX, and the Skyline rice. Those are sports cars. (okay, so some are 2+2 sport coupes) The 350Z is just outside the boarder, a body kit away from being rice.

I'd pick a stang any day over a riced out civic, but I'd take a supra turbo over a LS1 vette...so I don't know where that puts me.

Maybe you should just tune it up real good? Or rebuild the carb?

It should get better mileage than that. Even my Crown Vic with a 302 gets 18 mpg in the city.

Actually most people consider the 351M to be nearly worthless. It is not related to the 351 Windsor or the 351 Cleveland in any way. There are performance parts for it but, you would be better off building the 400 then, which is basically the same engine just bigger.

Actually it is quite related to the 351 Cleveland. A 351M is merely a 351C with a taller deck height that was designed to decrease compression and be better for emissions.....sadly it was not better for anything. The extra deck height makes the intake wider than the 351C and also makes the engine a bit wider also.....overall it is a low powered boat anchor as was the 400M which is a variant.

this car is too bias towards muscle cars. rice means all show and no go. now if i had to pick a supra or some muscle car i would pick the supra tt which is not "rice" since it definately performs witha 4.9sec 0-60 and a 13 sec 1/4
