neo - seriously, sorry about the thread hijack. Out of all the cars you listed - the Mustang is a completely different beast. It's not a sedan (obviously) and just has boatloads of power. If it's a sports car you want then by all means get the Mustang. Just think 3-5 years down the road though if that is what you want as a daily driver.

Out of the other cars - I'd still get the TSX. The 6 shouldn't even be mentioned with those other cars - yes it's a fun to drive sporty sedan, but it's not "luxury" if you can call them that like the other cars.

BTW - you look much better with hair.

well, i don't WANT a sports car in particular. i think we can all agree that different cars are appealing for different reasons. to be honest, i would be happy with any of those cars, heck i'm sure there are tons more that would be fine. i'm just torn between power/performance bling vs. classy sedan bling (for an extra 5 grand).

and the pic is just a bad one, here's a close up w/ no hair. i like it, easy maintenance.

Scion tC, and then buy all the upgrades.

Mustang 2005 looks great, don't know about realiability though. They also tend to be noisy (in the annoying way squeeky creeky cars)

TSX is nice, a friend has one and its really nicely painted and stuff.

Instead of mazda 6 i would go for the tc, and probably instead of the Volvo also.

the mustang, annoying squeeky creeky?!?! oh my god you need to be banished from earth. the sound of the mustang has got to be one of my favorite things about the car. it's got a low and deep growl - it just sounds fvcking mean. i can't believe you'd call it squeeky.

Go for the TSX (after all, it's the car that I will be getting this month).

First, it's made by Acura, which means it's a Honda at heart, and you know it will last forever. If I remember correctly, the first full tune-up is scheduled for 100,000 miles.

Second, for $28,500 you get a loaded car with a top-of-the-line navigation system.

Third, everyone and their mother will not have a TSX. It's hard to same the same about the Mustang and A4.

Fourth, it just looks cool for a sedan, IMO.

The only real dowside to the TSX is that it has a four cylinder engine. However, I must say, with 200HP, it is by no means a slow or wimpy engine.

If you can afford it, I would suggest the TL over the TSX. Now THAT is a sweet car.

With the stock rims it's MARGINALLY faster than a 4 banger Accord LX/EX sedan. The extra size+weight just negates the extra 40hp the TSX has over the Accord. It's still the same K24 engine with a few tweaks though.

I'd go for the Mustang out of all those.

What drugs are you on...the TSX is a smaller car than the Accord...in fact, it IS the Accord in Europe. It's the Euro-spec Accord, which is SMALLER than the US edition Accord.
It's only heavier because of the rims and the heavy luxury sound dampening and such.

God, shut up. What's with all the stupid ass n00bs in this thread?

I probably would also go with none...I want that new Legacy that's coming...
The A4 is actually a pretty slow car though...particularly in Quattro trim due to all it's weight...that 1.8T isn't all that powerful unless you start souping it up.
That said, I think I'd go with the TSX out of your choices.

BUT the Mazda 3 is actually built on the same frame as the Volvo S40...and I like the 3, so I wouldn't have much qualms about buying a 3S...should be a pretty nimble ride...and you can get it with xenons and navigation and all sorts of stupid goodies.
BUT I'd also look into the Scion tC that's coming...a hell of a bargain compared to all these cars! I'm surprised Toyota crammed all that goodness into that $17K pricetag!!!

Scion tC for $17K, I'd option it out with the TRD supercharger to bring it up to 200HP/200 lb/ft TQ and you'll still probably be under $20K MSRP for one sweet ride.

Want tC?

And just to stop the morons from posting, watch the entire flash animation at wanttc before making posts about how "tekdemon you're a tard! It says the MSRP is..."

the tC looks like a great car, and i investigated it thorougly before my post. my qualm? it's such a great car for the price that everyone and their mother, father, little brother, and next door neighbor will own one. the car is so unique considering the price, yet given 8-10 months, and the street will be littered with them.

right now: "damn, the scion tC is NICE"
feb '05: "goddamn, not another tC!!!"

I wouldn't waste my time on a non-Quattro Audi, but look into a CPO Audi A4. Not a bad deal there. The Mustang is a great choice as well. Honestly, it depends on your needs. I can 100% say that long trips in my Audi are much easier than in my Mustang, but nothing beats a 10 mile jaunt in the Mustang flying along.
