BTW- you're all flabby wimps until you can do this. :p

If thats you, i bow down before your might. THAT is a SOLID workout.
Georgia State Time Trial championships last year. I finished 12th @ 28.3mph. :)

180bpm for an hour? Holy crap. If I raced for an hour, that would be about, hmm, 9 miles. I wonder what my HR would be for that.

Average was actually 184 bpm. ;)

It sucked. Like.....really sucked. It took me a few days to feel normal again.

I love all the lying in these threads. Most of you guys have the resting pulse of a pro cyclist in the Tour de France. :p

Resting pulse isn't as impressive as the MaxOutput and stuff, imo. That Time Trial graph thing is impressive. Don't worry you are the winner so far. :p

I have bradiocardia (sp?). For real. And my blood pressure is excellent, too. I just got my bloodwork results back (rad/ODH physical at work), too, but they are not as favorable as I'd like. :(

I'm not worried about it, I'm just chuckling at some of the responses. Honestly, my HR graph doesn't mean all that much without a wattage associated with it. Lactate threshold HR is trainable (somewhat), but mostly it's just the willpower to hold it there. The guy who won that day probably had a very similar HR chart, but beat me by like 3 minutes because he produces more power at that HR than I do. ie- he's in better shape than I am.

when my (new) doctor took it when i was surfing North Shore daily - it was regularly low 50s then (low 60s now) - and he got hi-40s he asked if i was - 1) an athlete or 2) very sick.

i picked choice #1 and he seemed relieved

BP is still good - 120/70

My HR is usually about 60, but my BP is often as low as 90/40. I think it is common for women to have a higher resting HR than men but not really sure if it is because of lower average body mass or some other factor(s).

Your BP is REALLY low. Have you seen a doctor about that?

Yes, several. Since it is natural (exercise and genetics), not caused by any other factor, and does not cause me to pass out, they said it actually is good. I do get cold very easily. And it gives me an excuse to ingest vast amounts of coffee :)

Roughly around 70-75.

Not surprising as I actively lift...

they work the oppose way, the less your resting pulse rate is, the better shape you are.

Ahh, but it was much higher when I was less physically active...so I AM in better shape than before. Don't also forget to include a.) stress level, b.) body type, c.) family history. My blood pressure is good so I'm not horrifically worried either.

88 just sitting here at the computer reading ATOT over lunch. I'm not conscious enough in the morning to measure when I get up.

That is pretty high, but you really should take it first thing in the am for an accurate measurement.

Does your heart rate get faster after lunch?

60-100 is normal in adults. Athletes tend to be bradycardic.

Dunno...did you have a burger with a side of crack? That would do it. :p
